Not only a snorkeling trip

Qulaan is located in the south of Wadi el Gimal – Hamata National Park. An enormous shallow sandy ledge starts from the coast and extends northeast, creating the Qulaan group of islands. These four beautiful islands are surrounded by magnificent lagoons formed by fringing reefs with many different species of fish. The mangrove trees of the Qulaan area create a significant eco system. During the trip you have detailed descriptions about this special place.

In sheltered sea conditions, we travel by boat through the lagoons of the Qulaan Islands, enjoying the natural beauty above and below the water. Moored in beautiful lagoons we snorkel on colorful reefs. A fine white soft sandy beach invites you to relax or swim in the shallows. If you need snorkel equipment we have mask with snorkel, fins and wetsuits (shorty) available for hire.

Watch the birds on and around the islands while they are resting, feeding, nesting and breeding. You will see local birds in their natural habitat of mangrove trees which provide shelter and feeding grounds. Migrating birds changing with the seasons can also be seen throughout the islands. Binoculars are on the boat to give you a closer view.

Enjoy a relaxing boat trip in sheltered water and escape to your underwater world. If you are not a diver yet, discover this mysterious world for the first time with an introductory dive (diving equipment included).
